I am really looking forward to an event that will be celebrating a prolific actor and father figure to many from February 15-17, 2013. Lorne Greene played the role of “Ben Cartwright” on the former number one television series, Bonanza. In addition to Bonanza, he also lent his talents to the TV series, Battlestar Galactica, his own documentary series, Lorne Greene’s New Wilderness, and television commercials for Alpo. I grew up on the show and my early aspirations was to grow up to be “Little Joe Cartwright.”
Being one of three presenters at the official event commemorating the golden anniversary of the Bonanza tv show in Lake Tahoe, NV was truly an honor and highlight for me.
