One of my highlights while serving as one of three presenters at the Bonanza 50th Anniversary Friendship Convention in 2009 was meeting actor Gregory Walcott. My wife and I would see him again in 2011 at the Bonanza Round Up, sharing a table with him during the tribute dinner for Bonanza creator, David Dortort.
Sadly, Mr. Walcott passed away March 20, 2015. He was a warm, talented man and loved by many. While acting, he served as interim pastor for various churches in the Los Angeles area. A few of his TV and film credits include Bonanza, The High Chaparral, Rawhide, Maverick, Wagon Train, Dennis the Menace, Perry Mason, Dallas, Murder, She Wrote, Every Which Way But Loose, Joe Kidd, Mr. Roberts, Norma Rae, Plan 9 from Outer Space, etc. He and his contributions will definitely be missed.
